HARVEST FESTIVAL
Sunday 13th October
An opportunity to give thanks for all God has provided for us. To demonstrate our thankfulness we bring gifts to give to those in the local and global community who are in great need.
Again we support shall support international and local charities, not forgetting the elderly and infirm in our own community.
Token gifts will be taken to those in our local community who are sick or housebound. If you are aware of anyone who you feel should receive such a gift, or if you can help deliver the gifts, please let us know all.ccwalmersleybury@outlook.com
Donations of tinned and dry goods are welcome - gifts will be distributed locally via the Porch Project. Particular needs are highlighted on the link
If you wish to make a donation to Christian Aid, remembering those throughout the world who will struggle to reap a harvest sufficient for their needs, please place it in a marked envelope, or alternatively use the card machine at the back of church.
Following our Harvest Festival at 10.30am there will be a Harvest Lunch in the Church Hall - see below for more details.
Come celebrate the Feast of the Harvest …and bring the first fruits of your labour to the house of the Lord your God” Exodus 23
