Cafe Church

Cafe Church is not church as you probably remember it! It is casual, friendly - or what you make it.

It is an opportunity to sit in small groups (or on your own if you prefer); to chat or think; to join in songs, prayers, crafts, drama, readings - whatever is on offer that day. It is for all ages and could be an ideal introduction for a friend or neighbour who has not been to church, or not for many years.

Our Cafe Church services this year will have a common theme based on the report released by the Archbishops’ Council in Feb 2017, ‘Setting God’s People Free.’

This challenging report looks at ‘the true treasures of the Church’ – i.e. YOU and why change is needed for church growth.  We are going to investigate how the majority in church can be empowered and liberated for fruitful, faithful mission and ministry not just on Sundays but Mondays to Saturdays too.

You are warmly invited to join in the conversation at Cafe Churches throughout the year with a mix of styles and services and always, cafe-style food and drink.

Worship is the work of all God’s people!
